About Us

The Connecticut Rivers Council is one of New England's largest private youth-serving organizations; the Connecticut Rivers Council delivers Scouting programs that develop character, citizenship, fitness, and leadership skills to more than 31,000 youth and nearly 10,000 adult volunteers in 127 cities and towns in Connecticut.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America and the Connecticut Rivers Council to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout oath and law.

Scout Oath

On my honor I will do my best

and to obey the Scout Law;
